Delete your account
This page explains how to request deletion of your Essixx HRM account and associated personal data, as required for apps distributed on Google Play.
Option 1 — Delete in the app
- Open the Essixx HRM app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm your password or biometric verification.
- Your deletion request is processed within 7 business days.
Option 2 — Request by email
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address linked to your account:
Email support@essixx.comInclude: your full name, registered email, organization name (if applicable), and "Account deletion request" in the subject line.
What gets deleted
- Your user profile, login credentials, and app preferences
- Personal contact information (email, phone) stored for your account
- Self-uploaded profile photo and personal documents you added
- Device tokens used for push notifications
What may be retained
Some data may be retained where your employer is the data controller or where law requires retention:
- Payroll, tax, and statutory HR records (typically 3–7 years, depending on jurisdiction)
- Anonymized analytics that cannot identify you
- Records needed for fraud prevention, security investigations, or legal disputes
Retained data is limited to what is legally required and is not used for marketing.
Employer-managed accounts
If your account was created by your employer, your organization may need to approve deletion or offboard you first. Contact your HR administrator, or email us and we will coordinate with your organization.
Processing time
Deletion is usually completed within 7 business days of verification. You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is finished.
